Youth Driving Class

Our goal is to ensure that you receive the highest quality of driving instruction. You will become a confident, competent, defensive, and a responsible safe driver. We will equip you to to take and pass your DOL drivers test.

 

What You Will Recieve:

  • 30 Hours of Class Instruction – 3 times a week / 2 hours per day

  • 5 Hours Behind the Wheel

  • 5 Hours of Observation

  • 4 Hours of Driver Simulation (Driver–Zed)

  • 1 DOL Knowledge/Written Test

  • 1 DOL Skills Test/Drive

Drivers Permit Registration

Pre-apply online to get your driver license, instruction permit, ID card, EDL or EID HERE. Print or write down your WA driver license/permit number so you don’t forget it. Before you start your driving training course, give us your number at Sol Driving School. We will send DOL a waiver electronically, which saves you a trip to DOL office.

REGISTRATION PROCESS:
1. Come to Sol Driving School to Register with your Washington Identification Card/Number
2. Sol will place a Waiver in the DOL system so you are able to obtain your Permit $25.00 Fee is paid directly to DOL (No Earlier than 10 days Prior to start of Class)
NOTE: If you do not have a Washington Identification Card/Number, you will need to go to DOL to obtain a number (Take a Guardian/Birth Certificate and School Identification/Social Security Card to 3311 West Clearwater Avenue Suite B-140, Kennewick)
3. Obtain Permit and bring Copy with you on the 1st day of class. If you are just getting number and do not have your waiver yet, once obtained, please call Sol Driving School at 542-8890 to get waiver added.
